I am a dedicated IT professional and computing educator with over eight years of experience in teaching, IT administration, and cybersecurity. My passion for technology and education drives me to continuously learn, innovate, and share knowledge with others. I hold an MSc in Cybersecurity with Advanced Practice (Distinction) from Northumbria University, UK, and a BSc Special (Hons) in Computer Science.

Throughout my career, I have developed expertise in cybersecurity, networking, programming, system administration, database management, and digital literacy. I have worked in higher education institutes, universities, and IT organizations, contributing to student development, curriculum design, and digital transformation.

My Professional Journey
I started my career in academia, where I served as an IT Demonstrator & Visiting Lecturer at SLIATE and an Assistant Lecturer at Eastern University, Sri Lanka. I have taught various computing subjects, managed Learning Management Systems (LMS), and guided students in research and projects.

In 2024, I worked as a Cyber Security Intern at Fotray Global Service Limited, UK, where I conducted vulnerability assessments, monitored network activity, and worked with cybersecurity tools such as CyberCNS, Atera RMM, and Microsoft Defender.

Currently, I am working at McDonald's Southport as a Crew Member, where I have gained valuable teamwork and customer service experience.
My Key Achievements

Successfully implemented an LMS (VLE) for over 2,000 students and trained faculty members.
Led the migration of the KOHA Library System to a cloud-based infrastructure.
Participated in the NCSC Innovators Challenge 2024 and achieved 5th place in the "Sheffield Siege - Capture the Flag" competition.
Mentored students on cybersecurity awareness, ethical hacking, and IT safeguarding.
