About
I am a highly experienced and dedicated Business Lecturer with over 20 years of teaching experience across secondary and tertiary education institutions in Zimbabwe, South Africa, and the United Kingdom. I specialize in Business Studies, Business Management, Human Resource Management, and Entrepreneurship, delivering engaging and academically rigorous instruction to diverse student populations.
I hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, a Diploma in Education from the University of Zimbabwe, and professional certifications in Project Management and Human Resource Management. My teaching journey includes impactful roles at both school and university levels, including as a Lecturer and Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Coordinator at Durban University of Technology (DUT), where I also served as the Extended Curriculum Programme (ECP) Coordinator. I also have a strong background in corporate training, project coordination, and consulting through my role at Khuthele Management and Consulting (Pty) Ltd.
Currently, I am a Business Studies Teacher at Princes Risborough School in Buckinghamshire, UK, teaching KS4 to KS6 (Years 10–13), including GCSE and A Level. My work is guided by a learner-centered approach that promotes critical thinking, practical application, and career readiness. I have consistently demonstrated success in improving student performance and engagement, and I bring international teaching expertise, curriculum development skills, and academic leadership experience.
My key strengths include:
Extensive experience in teaching Business, Entrepreneurship, and HRM at both high school and university levels.
Strong background in curriculum design, assessment development, and academic mentoring.
Proven track record in coordinating work-integrated learning, academic support programmes, and apprenticeship training.
Skilled in using blended learning tools and modern pedagogical methods to enhance student learning experiences.
Passionate about supporting overseas-trained teachers and contributing to research in HR practices and teacher retention in UK schools.
I am now seeking to contribute my academic expertise, leadership, and global perspective to a higher education institution or academic role in the UK, where I can inspire future business professionals and continue my research in human resources and education.
