. I have a strong academic background, with a MSc in Finance and Investment at Distinction grade from Sheffield Hallam University UK, Masters In Business Administration(MBA), and a First degree in Accounting at Upper Credit grade. I have over 9 years of Teaching experience In teaching graduate and Master’s Degree Investment Bank trainees and experienced hires as well as over 5 years industry experience in Investment Banking.
In my years as a trainer I have been actively involved in Course and curriculum design, content development, training and assessing of trainees in such areas as Corporate Finance, Financial Analysis, Economics, Banking operations, Financial Modelling, Money Laundering among others. I have successfully trained and mentored over one thousand trainees supporting them to transition to professional Banking executives. I have severally collaborated with colleagues to redesign and assess our program and successfully secured accreditation from the Chartered Bankers Institute and the British Accreditation Council (BAC), I am an accredited facilitator both from the BAC and the Training Institute Minnesota.
I am committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student success, I am a strong believer that adults learn best by participation hence my training strategies have a strong bias to hands-on participation and the use of questions to stimulate critical thinking, while my assessment bias is the use of competency-based performance indicators. In a addition to my training and mentoring, I have been actively involved in expanding my scope of knowledge with research interest in the areas of funding strategies towards ending extreme poverty.
I am proficient in the use of both online tools and one-on-one physical engagement tools to deliver transfer learning . I used the physical training method prior to outbreak of covid, Post covid I adopted the online training structure with resounding success, using online training APPs like Team, Zooms, Webex employing effective online training tools. This demonstrates my passion for learning and development and improvement
