About
17/03/2025
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing with regards to the advertised; Teacher- (Health and Social Care) position; I am applying for the position because I believe I have the necessary transfer of field experience along with the skills.
I have had recent experience of undertaking the role - Deputy Head at Little Stars Nursery School and also the Deputy Head at an Early Years Centre In East Lancashire which was temporary for 3 months and prior to this I assumed as the Head of Early Years and Foundation Stage for an International School abroad in Kuwait and I found the assumed role to be pivotal in gaining pedagogical alignment of ensuring students are at the very centre of reciprocal education environments.
I have had an enjoyable career in Early Years Education, it has been twofold, whereby my knowledge and skills were put into challenging practice, working in settings with children and young adults with special educational needs and working within behavioural spectrums and then furthering myself, in the more traditional nursery environment settings, although this role comes with is own demand, to say the least, and I am driven so I succeeded in gaining management positions while still satisfying my work ethics to give in something I had belief in that I could see the value in the children gaining incremental free space to flourish is a reward. Expanding within Social Sciences and Humanities as subject areas: currently I have been teaching Health and Social Care with Religious Studies on alternating days;
I have worked as a Careers Advisor for Inspira South Lakes, Preston team. and previously had worked for Connexions Lancashire and various management/advisor roles in HM Prison services across Lancashire, I also possess management experience inclusive of team management and cross-contract work. I have many years of field experience working with children, young people, and vulnerable adults with physical or mental health issues. I have addressed issues such as: Child protection, Safeguarding with complex needs and protection relating to sexual exploitation, mental health,homelessness, displacement/refugee and asylum assistance and translating ,court representation via Mckenzee reference within a legal capacity for a fair processing,family bereavement, sentence planning, rehabilitation, offender management, racial equality and unemployment guidance. My roles have been of project management,strong in managing HR processing and administration including staffing, HR protocols, staff induction and job profiling, and cross contract work in managing staff, students and volunteers, advisory, teaching, marketing or sales environment, experience of monitoring, evaluation and analysis in previous roles, supporting and guiding young people in an educational setting and Careers Information, Advice and Guidance. I am proficient with computer/IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft -Exp Windows.Microsoft Office, Excel, with an understanding of the social impact of information technology in a practical business environment.
My roles have been of project management,strong in managing HR processing and administration including staffing, HR protocols, staff induction and job profiling, and cross contract work in managing staff, students and volunteers, advisory, teaching, marketing or sales environment, experience of monitoring, evaluation and analysis in previous roles, supporting and guiding young people in Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint and CRM.
I am educated to a degree level, BA Hons in Youth and community work(social sciences), and I hold an NVQ level 4 in Advice and Guidance, EYFS/CACHE- Childcare And Education. I have a recognised teaching qualification undertaken which is the Level 4 PTLLS. In addition, I possess an award in NCFE- LEVEL 3 Education and training. My level of Literacy and Numeracy is of the GCSE standard. My roles have provided me with much autonomy in working with multiple partner agencies and advanced my personal development and field experience in providing Information Advice and Guidance ( IAG) and teaching in further education establishments and facilitating group work for the adult learning via the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) I have done this in local job centres, sixth forms/higher education establishments and community-based centres across Lancashire. I have an extensive transferable experience that can help me develop as an educator. I have led staff teams and inspections of - Cambridge readiness inspections, COGNIA, COBIS and OFSTED, Furthermore I have undertaken staff, team and student supervision, and interviewed candidates for appointment in schools and project life work.
I deem that collaborative working in locality, nationally or globally in partnership development, at a comprehensive level is crucial to have communication for good work, relationships if anything needs to be established or understood in context and concept for both organisational growth. Your vacancy is an exciting and challenging opportunity and I believe my knowledge and experience will greatly be an asset for sustainability and development and the future direction of the project and to work in this role.
