About South Gloucestershire and Stroud College

South Gloucestershire and Stroud (SGS) College offer a vast range of courses across an even wider spectrum of subjects throughout their four main campuses around Stroud, Bristol and South Gloucestershire. Their busy HR team also provides the HR function for the larger Academy Trust the College is a part of, which works with a range of special needs and mainstream schools throughout the area. We are delighted to have been working on the recruitment advertising needs for the FE College staff and business team positions for the past two years.

Delivering Recruitment Advertising Solutions Across a Diverse Range of Vacancy Specialisms

With over 15,500 full-time and part-time students across a huge array of subjects and course structures, the recruitment advertising requirements of the HR team is substantial and diverse. We work alongside the Colleges existing recruitment website, seamlessly advertising their educational and business vacancies to a wide audience.

We work with the team to consistently deliver strategic and effective targeted campaigns to reach the best candidates, even those who are currently working outside of the FE arena but will have the necessary skills or knowledge required. With a strong focus on construction and engineering specialisms, this strength has proven to be essential for SGS. Our proactive approach and ability to conduct CV searches and target particular candidates has resulted in the College filling some of their more challenging roles more efficiently.

Following their most recent Ofsted rating of ‘Good’, we are proud to be supporting the College in working towards their goal of receiving an ‘Outstanding’ rating.
